I couldn't believe that I missed the past two years of taking Kenendy's pictures in bluebonnets. That's just what you do in the Spring if you have kids and you live in Texas. You gotta do it at least once.
So, on the "last" weekend of bluebonnet season, I drug everyone out to Ennis. It was a very windy day where the forecast called for rain but I didn't care because I wasn't about to miss the bluebonnets again. It was all worth it...
I'm rarely in any pictures because I'm always the one behind the camera. Gabe thought I should be in some pictures for once so he was the photographer on this day.
The beautiful day ended with Bevo rolling in the remains of a dead, rotting animal. We tried our hardest but could not get Bevo to jump in the lake to clean off. She smelled so bad that we debated leaving her out in the country. If it weren't for the bottles of water that we had in the car, which we used to clean her off enough to make the ride home bearable, Bevo would not have made it home with us...at least not in our car. Why do dogs love to smell bad? I don't get it. Thanks for the memories Bevo.
