Back by "popular" demand...

Oh my. I just looked at the last picture that I posted of Kennedy (in March) and am shocked because she looks sooooooooo different now--at least I think so. I'm going to have to get with it and update her blog. I've missed six months and, boy, has a lot happened in that time!

We've been sooooo busy since April. After a 2+ year house hunt, we gave in and bought a house in North Dallas (yes, outside the loop, which we didn't think we'd do, AND it's a 70's house, which completely shocked everyone). We were able to sell our Lake Highlands house pretty quickly (even though it was major drama) and we totally remodeled the new house (even more drama) while we lived with Gabe's Grandmother (i.e. took over her whole house, but we had a great time with her). Although it wasn't finished, we moved in to our new house in May. On top of all that, Gabe and I have been working like crazy. There simply hasn't been any time to breathe. Sad thing is that our house is STILL not finished. This remodel seems like it's never going to end.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining. Even though the past several months have been crazy, we have had a lot of good times and we are so very blessed for all the wonderful changes that have occurred.

That's what we've been up to. I'll be updating Kennedy's blog...slowly...beginning with April 2009 (see below).
