Easter 2009

Easter was so much fun this year!

We went to a big Easter egg hunt at Cooper Aerobics Center a week before Easter weekend. There were sooooooo many people out there.

Although Kennedy hunted eggs last year, she obviously didn't remember, so it was a whole new experience for her this year. She really got into it!
Kennedy was content with just two or three eggs in her basket but we kept telling her to get more, more, more. What are we teaching her?

Hunting eggs was fun, but all Kennedy really wanted to do was ride the ponies. She's still obsessed with horses. It's really funny watching her go around and around because Gabe wants to keep a hand on her to help her keep her balance but every time she feels his hand on her she gets annoyed because she wants to ride by herself.

Here's Kennedy with her friends Ella and Lola. All of her friends are getting so big!

On Easter Sunday, we went to church with Kennedy's Great Grandmother. Kennedy got to sit in "big church" with the adults. She has a difficult time with whispering so Kennedy and I had to sit in the foyer for half of the service. After service, she hunted for eggs, again, in the church's gym.

After church with Great Grandmother, we all went to have Easter lunch at Grammy and Grandpa's house with Great Grandpa, Nani, cousins Kayla and Austin--and, of course, Mr. Bear.
Then, we hunted eggs AGAIN--this time, in the country and in rain boots because the ground was wet. There's nothing cuter than an Easter dress and galoshes ;-)

Here's Kennedy putting Kayla in a headlock and giving us that "winning" smile again.
