I ride horsies!

I don't know if you know this, but I love to ride ponies. I live for festivals, parties, and other events where there are pony rides, but those only come a few times a year. That's not enough for me.

We live by two horse stables so I see horses all the time. Every time we drive or walk by the horses, I repeat over and over again: "I ride horsies. Daddy take you ride horsies?" (I get my you's and me's mixed up).

So...after weeks, maybe months, of listening to this daily, my parents found a place for me to ride ponies. It's a little feed store in Mesquite at a busy intersection. It's the oddest place ever for pony rides.

It was a really cold, windy day. When we got there, they told us the ponies hadn't arrived yet, so we ran errands and ate lunch. When we got back, the ponies still weren't there so we walked around and played. Then, the ponies finally arrived but it took about an hour to get them all hooked up. We waited FOREVER and EVER.

Finally, the time came. My dad handed the man a $20 bill and told him to let me ride for as long as that would get me.

I had so much fun! I was the only one to ride the ponies and I took full advantage of it.
As you can see, I made the man stop whenever I wanted to change ponies. I rode three different ponies!

The best part of the day was when a bird pooped right on mommy's head! Daddy and I thought that was thunny! (I can't say my f's).
