My first visit to the Fort Worth zoo

It was HOT and HUMID but we went to the Fort Worth zoo on Memorial Day.

Here I am watching the giraffe eat.

My favorite animals were the zebras and the hippos.

I was so brave.

I fed the birds in the huge aviary.

There were hundreds of them!

I was SUPER excited to pet the cow (calf) in the petting zoo. Just look at the excitement on my face.
Then...HE came along and cut right in front of me.

I was so disappointed.
Look at my sad face as I watched that cutter pet the cow.
My mommy wanted to shove that punk out of the way.

Then, I finally got my chance and I was happy again.

All in all, it was a fun day at the zoo!
